Johannes Hermann Friedrich Knoop, geb. 24.11.1896 in Artlenburg, ist einer der beiden heute noch in Artlenburg lebenden Bauern der Familie. Er wird den väterlichen Hof übernommen haben. Er wohnt z.Zt. in Artlenburg Nr. 82.
Er heiratete am 26.1.1928 in Artlenburg Dorothee Helene Mathilde Holst, die am 25.7.1898 in Brietlingen geboren wurde. Folgende Kinder dieser Ehe wurden in Artlenburg geboren:

- a) Hans Günther (geb. 3.11.1928): Er kommt im Mai 1939 als Zehnjähriger durch einen Unfall zu Tode. Er stürzte vom Pferd, als er dieses nach Hause reiten wollte, blieb im Geschirr hängen und wurde eine Strecke mitgeschleift. Als man das Pferd zum Stehen brachte und den Jungen befreite, war dieser schon tot.
- b) Wilhelm Otto Horst (geb. 12.6.1932).
