Walter Klaus Henry Knoop, geb. 14.7.1907 in Altengamme, erlernt wie Vater, Grossvater und Urgrossvater das Maurerhandwerk. Nach dem Besuch der Höheren Schule für Hoch- und Tiefbau macht er am 23.12.1935 die Meisterprüfung. Nach dem Tode des Vaters übernimmt er als Bauingenieur das Baugeschäft. Er wohnt in Altengamme auf dem Elbdeich in Nr. 149a (1933), in Nr. 75a (1933, 1935, 1936), in Nr. 78 und in Nr. 220 (1956).
Er heiratete am 26.1.1933 in Altengamme (Kirche am 28.1.) Elfriede Bertha Maria Wulff aus Altengamme Nr. 149a. Folgende Kinder dieser Ehe wurden in Altengamme geboren:
