My mother cannot tell me much except my dads mom and dad were from Berlin (which side i dont know)(my gran was Irish though). My dad had an older brother Peter but i have never met him or my grandparents. I live in South Africa (apparently my dads family moved here after or during the war). I was rather surprised there were KNOOPS in America and Holland. One thing I do know; We are German descendants. Does anyone have anyfeed back for me? My parents came from Holland, but iwas born here in Canada. My Dad came from Utrecht and my Mom from Rotterdam. I live near Toronto in a small community called, Rockwood. I am married and have on boy named Daniel. We have done research on our past and it does go back to German decent which i have a feeling many of you are originating form also. Any info, blog me back.
