Hi Knoops, i am David Knoop. My parents came from Holland, but iwas born here in Canada. My Dad came from Utrecht and my Mom from Rotterdam. I live near Toronto in a small community called, Rockwood. I am married and have on boy named Daniel. We have done research on our past and it does go back to German decent which i have a feeling many of you are originating form also.

Hi my name is Yvette and my dad was Owen Knoop but he passed away when he and i were far too young to want to know about my KNOOP family for which i have always felt somewhat proud of. My mother cannot tell me much except my dads mom and dad were from Berlin (which side i dont know)(my gran was Irish though). My dad had an older brother Peter but i have never met him or my grandparents. I live in South Africa (apparently my dads family moved here after or during the war). I was rather surprised there were KNOOPS in America and Holland. One thing I do know; We are German descendants.
